Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30am-3pm. Will rotate weekends and holidays with other staff members

What You Will Do: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care and assists in the coordination and management of patient care under the supervision of registered nurse(s) (RNs) or physician(s). The LPN delivers safe, competent, and compassionate care to patients during their IVF journey. The LPN will report to the Nurse Manager.
- Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for surgery/procedure as directed by the RN.
- Assist cleaning rooms, instruments, and equipment.
- Prepare patient rooms for the next patient/procedure.
- Transfer patients to their vehicle per wheelchair upon their discharge.
- Assist in surgical cases at the direction of the RN or Physician.
- Provide care to patients after surgery/procedure as directed by the RN.
- Scan documents into the patient’s EMR.
- Prepare charts for procedures, ensure all required consents and forms are signed, accurate and complete prior to any procedure/surgery being performed.
- Take immediate corrective action when a required consent form is missing or incomplete.
- Obtain/print patients’ medical information from EMR; forward as required for ongoing pregnancy care.
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining patient flow and timeliness within the surgery center.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma required; higher education preferred.
- Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
- BCLS certification required.
- 2+ years’ experience in surgery center/OR preferred.
- Ability to use basic office equipment and properly care for instrumentation and equipment.
- Possess the professionalism, stability, and flexibility to function in a high paced environment, under stressful conditions (Surgery center).
- Ability to follow procedures and monitor visual and audio alarms.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, on a rotating basis.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, including computer keyboards and mice; telephones; photocopiers; scanners; filing cabinets. The employee is frequently required to sit; will occasionally stand and/or walk; use hands and fingers to grasp, pick, pinch, type; and reach with hands and arms. Employees should have the visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and operation of standard office machines and equipment.
CCRM’s Compensation: The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.

Will work varied days based on needs of the Surgery Center. Hours may also vary some due to surgery schedule for the day but primarily start time will be 6:30am to 3pm. Will rotate weekends and holidays with other staff members.
