Fresh Take customers will enjoy a variety of culinary delights, including an in-store sushi bar, pizza and pasta station, sandwich bar, full-service hot food bar, bakery, and a large selection of import cheeses. For a refreshing twist, customers can visit the fresh-squeezed juice and smoothie bar or discover easy meal solutions with our grab-and-go options. We also offer the convenience of Instacart pickup and delivery services, ensuring effortless online grocery shopping. For special occasions, our catering services provide a delectable selection of culinary delights.

With seating for 130, two outdoor balconies, a spacious mezzanine seating area above the in-store Starbucks, and a cozy spot for professionals to work or meet over coffee with complimentary WIFI, we aim to create a community hub. Our outdoor patio features a walk-up barbecue smokehouse for a mouthwatering lunch or dinner, a fire pit, and a 5-hole putting green, making Fresh Take a destination for families and individuals alike.

About This Position:

Fresh Take Grocery is seeking an Assistant Foodservice Manager to lead our kitchen operations with expertise and enthusiasm. This role involves overseeing all kitchen activities, ensuring the highest standards of freshness, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, possesses strong leadership skills, and is committed to delivering an exceptional experience for both customers and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily activities
  • Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Create and maintain recipe standards and production schedules
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
  • Assist in menu planning and development
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Availability:

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Focus on Fresh
  • Proven experience in kitchen management or culinary arts
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
