The School of Traditional Skills is seeking an energetic and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive our growth. This pivotal role requires a seasoned marketing professional with prior experience as a Director of Marketing or CMO, along with a strong track record in managing marketing strategies for young growing companies.
Your resume should include a broad range of skills including but not limited to: email marketing, content marketing, live events such as webinars and summits as well as experience with direct response and paid advertising on platforms like FB, IG, YT and Google. Experience directing and managing affiliate programs will be a serious bonus. Did we mention SEO?
You also must be familiar with marketing online educational products as well as recurring revenue models. SaaS would be another bonus
Data driven decision making is a must.
Lastly, you should have experience not only in scaling revenue in the start up environment, the successful candidate will have prior experience scaling a company from $2m ARR to $10m ARR.
As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing both Growth and Lifecycle Marketing for an e-learning subscription company. The responsibilities of this role will encompass all marketing activities, including social media, digital advertising campaigns, organic content marketing, and live events such as webinars and summits.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in Performance Marketing, particularly with Meta, and extensive experience in marketing live events like webinars and summits. Additionally, the Director of Marketing must be proficient in data and analytics and be driven by data-informed decisions.
You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the leadership team, regularly presenting strategies and reports on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
- Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
- Supervise the marketing department and provide guidance and feedback to team members and vendors.
- Develop and execute systems and procedures for marketing data analytics.

- Drive growth and lifecycle marketing initiatives to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
- Utilize performance marketing techniques to optimize campaigns and drive measurable results.
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and continuously improve marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts.

Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in marketing strategy with at least five (5) years in leadership.
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
- Solid knowledge of data analytics, web analytics, and Google Adwords.
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional, empathetic, and approachable written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including structuring data and managing details.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to make difficult decisions.
- Mastery of Google’s G Suite of products, including Gmail, Docs, and Drive.
- Proficiency with virtual meeting and collaboration software and tools.

- Ability to learn and apply new systems, technologies, and workflows.
- Familiarity with e-learning, specifically with video format.

- Proven track record in performance marketing, particularly with Meta.
- Experience in marketing live events such as webinars and summits.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and a strong understanding of marketing analytics.
- Experience scaling a company from early stages to significant growth.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Benefits
COMPENSATION:Base Salary plus performance-based bonuses with the potential to earn an additional 50% of the base salary.
