Type: Full Time In Office Mon-Fri
Location: Mayzo Operations Center in Walterboro, SC
Compensation: $60,000 to $68,000 based on experience

Overview:
The Production Scheduler will manage and coordinate production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient use of resources. This role focuses on organizing production workflows, maintaining schedules, and communicating effectively to meet production targets and deadlines. Additional responsibilities include preparing outbound order documents, handling carrier claims, and managing freight invoicing errors.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production tasks.
  • Schedule batch tickets to coordinate production activities.
  • Print batch tickets and distribute them to the production floor.
  • Close batch tickets in the ERP system to ensure accurate tracking of production progress and accurate product costing.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in priorities or unforeseen delays.
  • Coordinate with various departments including production, procurement, and shipping to align schedules and resource allocation.
  • Ensure materials and resources are available to meet production requirements.
  • Track production progress and provide regular updates to management.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and provide solutions to avoid production bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, schedules, and available machine capacity.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and suggest process enhancements.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production and capacity reports.
  • Send all outbound orders to the shipping department for execution.
  • Handle carrier claims for loss or damaged freight.
  • Clean up any freight carrier invoicing discrepancies.
  • Create receiver forms for incoming shipments.
  • Schedule and verify completion of all preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Schedule any required maintenance for the facility utilizing a list of approved 3rd party vendors
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED; a bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and production scheduling software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and interact effectively with other departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
