Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving pallets and materials throughout the warehouse, supporting production requirements and loading/unloading customer trailers. This role also involves power-sorting pallets by hand and repairing damaged wooden pallets as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts to transport materials and pallets efficiently
  • Position forks and lifting devices to load and unload materials
  • Sort and repair wooden pallets as required
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • Meet Relogistics results and maintain Core Values and Safety Standards

Requirements:

  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Ability to promote a safe work environment
  • Follow instructions for keeping records
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedule/shifts

Work Environment:

The Forklift Operator will work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes. The employee must be able to lift pallets weighing between 50-75 lbs.
