Job Description

  • Developing, configuring, and optimizing the injection mold process from inception through to start-up and certification.
  • Monitoring and commissioning mold handover (from Engineering to production) by following mold handover guidelines
  • Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and output quality.
  • Managing mold issues and solutions.
  • Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpreting data.
  • Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes.
  • Performing risk assessments.
  • Optimizing and standardizing of the product requirements and processes.
  • Support production to solve operations issues (RCA) and solution implementation
  • Work closely with the Injection Mold Engineering Team to give design reviews and improve existing mold.
  • Coordination of new mold development with China colleagues and toolmakers
  • Coordination of tool refurbishment activities
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • At least three years’ experience in Injection Molding area/mold specialist (Mold process, mold systems, mold flow, shrinkage analysis).
  • Ability to analyze statistical data and track injection molding issues and come up with solutions.
  • Ability to manage team to achieve goals, improvements, activities engagement (production process and quality)
  • Knowledge of process-related standards and health-safety regulations.
  • Have good analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Skills (MS Office, SharePoint, Power Bi a plus)
