Senior Composite Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Composite Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of composite manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of composite manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure design concepts are manufacturable and meet AS9100 and other relevant aerospace quality standards
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes
  • Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments
  • Analyze manufacturing process flows, facility layout, and operational data to assess and identify areas for process improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in composite manufacturing engineering in the aerospace industry
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, Catia, and other relevant software
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with process engineering, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
