Volkswagen of Duluth is an automotive dealership seeking a full-time Automotive Parts Specialist We consider having some background knowledge and experience a bonus, but we are willing to train the right person for this position if we find a good fit. Could that be you?

Duties include:

  • Sell products and/or services to repair automotive problems
  • Order parts from catalogs and other vendors
  • Set up billing for customers and charge accounts
  • Assist in keeping Parts Department clean and orderly
  • Assist Parts Manager with inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction
  • Provide service technicians with parts as required
  • Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership
  • Attend training as assigned by management
  • Use dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently
  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers you come in contact with
  • Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager
  • Perform other tasks as required by Parts Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass an MVR check
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED 
  • Dependable with a positive attitude
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Experience with automotive parts/service preferred but not required
