Contracts Manager

Location: Alameda, CA (Remote)

Pay: $40-45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Lead the negotiation and drafting of a variety of contracts including vendor agreements, clinical trial contracts, licensing agreements, and collaboration agreements.
  2. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions; work with legal counsel and stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Contract Administration: Manage contract execution, renewal, and termination processes; maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (R&D, legal, finance) and external partners to facilitate smooth contract processes and resolve disputes.
  5. Compliance and Audit: Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies; support audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, or related field; JD preferred.
  • Proven experience 5 years in contract management within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
