The ERSEA Intake Worker earns a competitive wage of $20.89/hour. We also offer generous benefits including health, dental, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), a healthcare spending account (HSA) with up to a $2,500 match, a 401k plan with 5% match, short and long-term disability, accident insurance, life insurance, 11 paid holidays, paid time off between Christmas and New Year's, paid time off (up to 192 hours a year), and an hour of paid time on Fridays for self-care. QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent computer navigation skills
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Social Services preferred
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Previous experience with Head Start preferred.

As an ERSEA Intak Worker you are:
- Responsible for implementation, compliance and monitoring in Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) according to Head Start Performance Standards.
- Maintain and process data regarding enrollment into information management system to develop reports to support timely and accurate information for the program.
- Oversee and process applications for accuracy and timeliness. Including determination of eligibility and selection criteria for new and participating families.
- Knowledge of the program's selection criteria system for eligibility and ensures correct documentation is used to determine eligibility. Monitors all information prior to enrolling a child.
- Follow the Federal Poverty Guidelines to comply with the Head Start Performance Standards to ensure all guidelines are met in regards to serving children with disabilities and families who exceed low income
- Knowledge of Child Care subsidy requirements, TANF, SSI, and Foster Care and McKinney Vento.
- Manages time efficiently to ensure all eligibility documentation, attendance data, and end of month reports are completed timely and accurately.
- Participates in community outreach and implements recruitment strategies to ensure families most in need are served and maintains professional relationships with outside agencies.
- Assist with the design and deliver training to staff, community partners and parents on eligibility and topics related to ERSEA regulations, policies and procedures.
