We are looking for a Raw Materials Handler/Saw Operator to cut metal stock for our production operations.  This is a B-Shift Position working Mon-Thurs 7:30PM -6:00AM

Training will take place on our A-Shift (Mon-Thurs 6AM-4:30PM) for no less then 90 Days

 

Job Description

Essential Duties:  The following are the normal duties performed by this position.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Safely supply production operators in various production work teams with appropriate material and packaging in a timely manner.
  2. Correctly setup and cut material in assigned equipment in a timely manner.
  3. Organize all containers and stock within correct designated areas.
  4. Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.
  5. Perform operator maintenance on assigned equipment.
  6. Diagnose and correct equipment issues. 
  7. Perform de-burr or rework of work in-process.
  8. Safely operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move material within the facility.
  9. Maintain work station to 5S standards.
  10. Perform all work according to PAC safety standards.
  11. Comply with all PAC policy and procedures.
Qualifications

Suggested Qualifications:

  1. 1 year of successful prior essential duty related experience including operation of production equipment, power tools and hand tools.
  2. Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail with material specifications and production control systems.
  3. Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
  4. High school diploma or equivalent.
  5. Blueprint reading skills to GD&T standards.
  6. Basic Windows and MS Office skills.
  7. Ability to perform basic math functions.
  8. Unrestricted driver’s license
  9. Eligible for Powered Industrial Truck Permit.
