Twin Tails Cageless Grooming is now hiring a Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at our two salon locations, in Glendale, Arizona and Peoria, Arizona. The person for us is a dedicated, hard working individual who is eager to supervise our Team on location and help provide a fun, stress-free atmosphere for our amazing Grooming Team.

We are unlike any other grooming salon in Arizona Our company is based on Teamwork, Compassion, Community, Education and Integrity. We provide an upscale, drama-free work environment that allows our Pet Stylists the chance to excel and focus on their skills.

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Management Experience in any field AND 2 years experience in a pet related industry.

Pay starts at $52,000 per year. This position requires working 5 days per week, open to close. Bonus: Monthly gas allowance for traveling, flexible work schedule when time off is needed, and an incredible group of humans (and pets) to work with each day

 

Job Description:

  •  Offer consultation and recommendations to store managers, and team members, on overcoming work related challenges
  • Monitor sales and work toward meeting quarterly objectives
  • Maintain employee files
  • Minimize cost and labor by reviewing schedules and inventory use
  • Ensure salon policies and procedures are followed
  • Evaluate store operations, cleanliness and efficiency
  • Operating the front desk at each location weekly: When working at the front desk, you will be welcoming clients as they enter the salon, checking clients in and out, processing credit card payments, managing the groomer’s schedules with an online program, and keeping the salon schedule flowing accurately day to day. You will work alongside our Salon Managers and Operation Manager to ensure the Team follows policies and procedures.
  • This is a FAST PACED position and requires speed and accuracy at all times. Applicants must be able to handle multiple projects at once, retain large amounts of information, greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, and get along well with a large staff. This position also requires constant moving throughout the day; it is not just a desk/receptionist job. If you like to be busy...this is the job for you :)

 

Skills to be successful with Twin Tails:

  • Leadership: Strongly developed leadership skills are crucial. You will use advanced leadership skills to inspire, mentor and encourage store-level managers to reach goals and lead their Teams.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this role for daily interactions with clients, Team Members and upper management.
  • Customer Service: Good customer-facing skills are a must and you must be able to interact with customers in a positive way to promote excellent customer satisfaction.
  •  Coaching: Ability to guide others and regularly offer workplace coaching and cheering on Team Members.
  • Composure: Work well under pressure and can stay calm when problems arise.
  • Patience/Caring: Being able to work along our Team and care about their success with the company by providing direction and honest opinions when needed.
  •  Problem-solving: Must be able to overcome daily problems, adapt, and develop strategies to solve problems.
  • Multitasking: Posses good multitasking abilities and successfully switch between various tasks with ease.
  • Macro Manager: Allow your Teams and managers to work on their own and don’t spend your day micromanaging others. Be open to ideas from others to improve the company as we grow.

 

Additional requirements:

1. Previous experience with a computer based scheduling program

2. Breed knowledge of major dog breeds, preferred, but can be learned

3. Ability to make decisions efficiently and quickly

4. Must be reliable and dependable

5. Looking for a stable work environment and long time employment

6. Must be a people person and like working with others

7. Must be able to work Saturdays AND/OR Sundays
