Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for reconciling daily hotel transactions, auditing guest accounts and investigating discrepancies, resolving customer complaints, and providing exceptional service to guests during their stay. You will also be responsible for administrative duties such as preparing reports and maintaining accurate records for accounting and management purposes. This position is full-time and requires the ability to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all hotel transactions, including room rates, taxes, and payments
  • Verify and balance all revenue and settlement accounts
  • Audit guest accounts and investigate any discrepancies or issues
  • Respond to customer complaints, resolve issues, and communicate any escalations to management
  • Perform administrative duties such as preparing reports, filing, and answering phones
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the hotel in a positive manner at all times
  • Create a welcoming and supportive environment for guests and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Experience with Opera Cloud (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in hospitality, accounting, or a related field 1-year or more (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with hotel management software (preferred)
  • Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
