We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Leader to join our dynamic team focused on revolutionizing the healthcare industry through innovative cloud-based solutions. As a Software Leader at you will play a pivotal role in leading, designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications that drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability in healthcare systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
- 2 years of leading SW Engineers
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions primarily using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Design and implement cloud-native applications leveraging best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to software development best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other software issues through refactoring, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes, monitor system performance, and ensure high availability of applications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our software development processes and technologies.
- Contribute to the overall architecture, design, and technical roadmap of products and platforms.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, in a cloud-based environment.
- Must have strong proficiency in programming languages - JavaScript, PHP, HTML and CSS, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services like AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.
- Hands-on experience with modern software development tools, frameworks, and technologies such as Spring Boot, Django, React, Angular, etc.
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL and MySQL) and data modeling principles.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile principles, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with healthcare IT systems or knowledge of healthcare standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
- This is a 100% onsite role, must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
