Job Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Software Engineer I at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector on the Identity and Access Management team you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components to the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an entry-level member of a software engineering team, you execute basic software solutions through the design, development, and troubleshooting of a single technical area within a business function, while gaining skills and experience to grow within your role.
As a Software Developer with Identity & Access Management Skills you will solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions. Through development and modeling, you will configure, model, develop, and optimize the Identity and Access management of data and access to data for applications and their associated consumers to independently decompose and iteratively improve on solutions. You are a significant contributor to your team by sharing your knowledge of end-to-end operations, availability, reliability, and scalability of your data and the application or platform that utilize that data.
Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability Executes basic software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with peer guidance
• Interprets architecture and design representations as well as nonfunctional requirements to develop secure, stable software against a defined architecture
• Actively applies automation to reduce manual toil in the Software Development Life Cycle
• Addresses basic code quality issues
• Designing conceptual/logical/physical data models
• Building Cloud native applications with micro-services and deploying to Cloud platform
• Manage Infrastructure changes and upgrades
• Building reusable components and front end libraries for future use
• Automating tests and deployments alleviating the need for manual intervention
• Collaborating with other technology teams, product and design team

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts
• Experience in one or more technology domains
• Experience in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices
• Baseline knowledge of software, applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, with a passion to build an inclusive and innovative culture
• Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Cloud and Micro-services
