YOUR TYPICAL DAY

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day starts with providing expert mental health services and advocacy for families within and beyond the agency. You offer personalized individual and group therapy sessions to children, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based practices in an office or community setting. You'll conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment goals with clients and their guardians.

Collaborating with other professionals as part of a care team, you coordinate with external agencies and families to support clients' mental health and stability. Additionally, you ensure accurate billing for self-pay and insured clients, participate in clinical case staffing, and provide crisis intervention as needed.


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field
  • Knowledge about evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment modalities used with the population we serve
  • Understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism
  • Ability and willingness to complete CARE and TCI training
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC)

YOUR TYPICAL SCHEDULE

This full-time role offers a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday in our Fairview Heights, IL office.
