Your dedication will be met with a competitive salary based on experience, complemented by a sign-on bonus with the signing of a one-year retention agreement that would be paid out in 3 installments - one with the first paycheck, one at 90 days, and one at 6 months.

This full-time Mental Health Therapy Counselor position operates on a standard 40-hour workweek, ensuring balance and consistency with Monday to Friday as the primary workdays.

All that you need is:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related human services field
  • Proficiency in evidence-based practices and diverse treatment modalities
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Appreciation and understanding of multiculturalism
  • Willingness to complete the children and residential experiences (CARE) and therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) training

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY COUNSELOR?

You will provide essential mental health services and advocacy for families, both within and outside of our agency. Utilizing evidence-based practices and diverse therapeutic modalities, you will also conduct individual and group therapy sessions for a diverse clientele, encompassing children, adults, couples, and families. From conducting thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to collaboratively setting treatment goals with clients and their guardians, your expertise will be instrumental. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will coordinate services to address clients' needs, ensuring accurate billing and meticulous documentation to meet regulatory standards.
