Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Participate in monthly and quarterly close related activities including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares disclosures schedules for the quarterly and annual financial filings.
  • Partners with cross functional teams such as FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal, to address operational challenges
  • Participates in departmental projects and initiatives
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Functional and Technical Competencies
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including experience including V-lookups and pivot tables
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Proficient in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks and work with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain positive, effective relationships
Education/Training and Certification, Licensure, Registration Requirements
  • BA or BS in accounting or related discipline required
Experience
  • 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP
  • 1+ years of Cloud-based accounting software experience (NetSuite, Intacct, Oracle Fusion, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Proficient in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks and work with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain positive, effective relationships
