Position Summary:

This position focuses on operational support processes that includes, but is not limited to, transaction posting, ATM servicing, Wires, ACH processes, mobile deposits and Shared Branching adjustments. Provides professional and efficient assistance to Associates and Members, and works on special projects as assigned. This position will also contribute to the overall success of the Member Operations Team by handling research requests, document and information retrievals, file maintenance requests and account adjustments in a timely and professional manner. Individuals obtaining this position will possess problem resolution and workflow management skills.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Provides support to the Member Operations Team as needed. Basic knowledge of products and services the credit union offers.
  • Establish a foundation of understanding in electronic payment processing to be able to support and answer questions from Associates. These areas include; mobile deposit, wires, share drafts, CO-OP Share Branching, ACH Daily file, processing ATM Adjustments, and other functions as needed.
  • General knowledge of rules and regulations specifically related to department functions: i.e. CO-OP Network deposit rules and regulations; Regulation E, Regulation D, Regulation CC, ACH rules, MasterCard Rules etc. to ensure compliance.
  • Processes NSF items; returned deposited items; ONUS and Foreign items.
  • Utilizes multiple systems and critical applications necessary to properly maintain Member account transactions.
  • Provides basic troubleshooting and problem solving solutions for internal Associates and external Members that are experiencing problems relating to all Online Services, World Wide Web browsing, Orange County’s Credit Union’s Web site navigation and the intranet.

Qualification:

Experience/ Training/ Education:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Mastery of all the essential functions of a Teller, Legal Processes Specialist I, and Call Center positions and all associated processes. Recognized by peers and leaders as a Subject Matter Expert for knowledge and service excellence
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a financial services front line or call center position which would provide thorough knowledge of deposit and loan account products and services and member service.
  • Working proficiency with modern office practices and procedures, including personal computer skills with core systems used to service financial accounts. Symitar system experience preferred.

Base Pay Range:

The targeted hourly range is $21.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour. Final offer will be determined based on experience, education, training/certifications and specialized skills.
