We are excited to announce we are opening a brand-new residential treatment facility in Columbus, Ohio and we are seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals to join our team


Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. We are a treatment facility that prides itself in a welcoming and compassionate approach to substance use and mental health treatment. We believe our clients can achieve recovery and be valued community members through positive engagement and meaningful participation in treatment.

Our comprehensive approach to addictions treatment provides a continuum of care that begins with asking for help and continues through to ongoing peer support. In addition to our state-of-the-art treatment facilities and peer support centers across Central Ohio, we work to remove barriers and promote access to care through our integrative approach and evidence-based clinical treatment.

Position: Driver

 

Job Summary: The Driver plays a crucial role in safely transporting clients who are unable to transport themselves. They ensure that vehicles are clean and in good working order before each trip. Effective communication with both the supervisor and the clients is essential to guarantee that clients are transported to their appropriate destinations promptly. This position may report to Clinical Site Director or Transportation Supervisor.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transports clients as assigned to their appropriate destinations.
  • Transport clients during discharge/transition process to designated treatment locations and services.
  • Pickup clients from other LBHS locations and any other assigned service providers for residential treatment.
  • Ensures that vehicles are clean prior to transporting They are issued fleet accounts for the car wash and ensure that the van is cleaned according to established standards.
  • Responsible for a monthly maintenance Report maintenance issues in a timely manner and ensure that the vehicle is safe to operate.
  • Responds appropriately to vehicular emergencies (ex. Flat tire, car accidents, ) appropriately, maintaining professionalism and contacting their supervisor immediately.
  • Knowledgeable of the safety protocol and addresses safety concerns with their supervisor.
  • Maintains courteous and respectful communication with staff and Is mindful of the privacy of clients.
  • Completes required training in a timely manner.
  • Conducts themselves at a high standard of professionalism and abides by the LBHS Code of Conduct of Ethical Behavior.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Experience/Abilities:

  • Valid Ohio Driver's License. Must pass BCI check and MVR, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen.
  • Must be 25 years or older

 

Desired Certifications and Experience: 

  • Previous experience in transportation or professional driving


Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
