Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at IES - Residential. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in newly constructed residential properties, adhering to local building codes and project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with builders, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical installations and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruption for homeowners.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and service reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical systems preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician, with a focus on residential new construction.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
