Job Summary
The U.S. Business Process Manager (BPM) leader has responsibility for ensuring regional & global processes are aligned with organization-wide quality objectives, customer requirements and applicable quality related legislation. Primary responsibilities will include embedding a quality culture and ensuring all operational business processes have quality at the forefront. Additional responsibilities include Lead process facilitation of Enterprise Process Framework, remote leadership of a global team, interacting and supporting Operations and Executive Management.
Job Functions
- Development and standardization of global company working practices, ensuring business, customer and applicable quality legislation requirements are met.
- Facilitate activity impactful to resetting Quality culture to luxury OEM levels.
- Implementation of said practices and verify effective roll out and application.
- Lead US Business Process Management Office to prioritize regional needs and optimize global policy implementation
- Lead weekly PMO meetings to measure and report progress
- Remove cross-functional and/or cross-regional roadblocks
- Collaborate across domains to ensure process optimization can be delivered efficiently and effectively
- Champion, develop and support the delivery of quality focused training essential for business plan achievement
- As necessary, perform other related duties of which the above are representative
Management Responsibilities
Has both direct and indirect professional subordinates at a global level. Supervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training and staff development; leads employees to establish team and individual annual goals that relate to corporate KPIs and guide them in tracking these goals for each phase of a project; interviews and selects unit employees; provides timely feedback in terms of performance; recommends merit increases, transfers and promotions; counsels and disciplines employees as necessary; recommends termination when appropriate; and monitors time and attendance of subordinates. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.

- General understanding of Battery process from Electrode through Pack
- Lead auditor qualification in related discipline (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and or VDA 6.3)
- Excellent Interpersonal, presentation, and effective communications skills
- Self-Starter with the ability to function without supervision; exercise initiative using sound judgement and react with discretion under varying conditions
- Ability to develop and establish efficiency through process improvements and automation
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint); Expertise and proficiency
- Schedule flexibility – meetings with each region are required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong project coordination and judgment skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
Experience and Education
Five or more years of directly related professional-level experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international qualifications in a related field.
Computer Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Access and other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce standard and non-standard, creative products.
Travel
Occasional domestic and international travel required.
Relocation
Position will be based in Murfreesboro, TN
