The Property Manager is responsible for handling the leasing process as well as customer service once the tenancy begins. This position is often the face of Real Property Management Summit. The role touches the leasing process from introduction through occupancy and is responsible for maintaining trust and communication from the initial inquiry to the on boarding of the resident. The Property Manager is highly organized with strong time management skills and an understanding of prioritization. Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service and to instill trust, the Property Manager is a natural communicator with good negotiation skills, the ability to work independently and a professional demeanor.

Virginia Real Estate salesperson license is REQUIRED. SALARY PLUS COMMISSION 40 Hour work week, Monday-Friday, NO WEEKENDS

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Handling inquiries from prospective tenants
  2. Adhering to customer service and sales standards throughout the whole leasing process
  3. Preparing advertisements for available rental properties
  4. Showing properties to prospective tenants and walking them through the leasing process
  5. Maintaining an accurate, up-to-date record of available rental properties
  6. Maintain relationships with both client owners as well as tenants throughout the course of the lease term/management agreement.
  7. Assist tenants with maintenance requests and keep client owners up to date on activity surrounding their rental property.
  8. Preparing property condition reports
  9. Responsible to submit weekly feedback from prospective renters for vacant properties
  10. Processing Rental Applications while adhering to Fair Housing Regulations
  11. Assisting current tenants with lease questions, and other questions throughout their tenancy.
  12. Demonstrating excellent customer service skills in all interactions with tenants.

4. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
5. Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
6. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with limited supervision with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

REQUIREMENTS
1. Active Real Estate License in Virginia
