Background
SOCSOUTH conducts Internet Based Messaging (Social Media Content and/or Publicly Available Information (PAI) Amplification) to reach audiences in Central America, and South America with the intent to present information that supports the critical objectives. Additionally, they collect pertinent information via annual and quarterly surveys that can lead to the collection of atmospherics, demographic information, motive, vulnerability, susceptibilities, impact indicators and measure of effectiveness (MOE). The Surveys serve as a platform to collect the necessary information to measure the reach and effectiveness of messaging activities.
640 Acres provides production, editing, and execution of Internet Based Messages, based on the requirements to reach specified audience and assess the effectiveness of messaging and the audience’s sentiment based on SOCSOUTH’s approved narrative and objectives. 640 Acres produces all Internet Based Messaging and survey questions based on the language spoken in the location of dissemination/execution. These services are conducted in the predetermined countries of the Central America, and South America. We meet all the services in Spanish and English providing an accurate translation for all disseminated / executed messages and surveys based on pre-approved information / guidance provided by the appropriate authority.
Responsibilities
640 Acres is seeking a Full-Time Media Monitoring Analyst to provide the production, editing, and dissemination / execution of Internet Based Messages, based on the requirements for In-direct Social Media content, to reach specified audience and assess the effectiveness of SOCSOUTH messaging and the audience’s sentiment based on Client approved narrative and objectives. The Media Monitoring Analyst shall produce all Internet Based Messaging and survey questions based on the language spoken in the location of dissemination / execution.
This position is scheduled to work normal business hours Eastern Standard Time. This person will be responsible for identifying, capturing, and analyzing social media coverage daily to produce analysis reports that is sent to stakeholders and leaders within that government agency.
The Media Monitoring Analyst provides the following:
· Provide production, editing, and dissemination/ execution of forty-eight (48) In-direct Social Media content & Amplification of Publicly Available Information (PAI) missions;
· Keep accountability of all executed messages, PAI Amplifications and Surveys;
· Maintain a tracker of all social media content ideas submitted by SOCSOUTH’s Teams, metrics of all executed social media messages, and metrics of all executed PAI amplifications;
· Provide a monthly and quarterly report (roll-up) of measures of performance (MOP), measures of effectiveness (MOE), and measure of effectiveness indicators (MOEi).
· Provide one (1) baseball card per social media influencer that identifies the current reach and subject areas of expertise the influencer(s) has/have;
· Assist SOCSOUTH staff and Teams with capabilities briefs and support;
· Work to identify, collect, and report news, broadcast, and social media reports or insights as applicable using software tools, websites, and other open-source research methods;
· Analyze the social media landscape or specific topic areas or stories of interest to provide key takeaways and recommendations; and,
· Attend and support tool or analyst training as required.
Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications
· US Citizen holding a security clearance of Secret, with eligibility to attain Top Secret;
· Minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two of the following areas: intelligence, intelligence integration, social media marketing, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), open-source research and analysis, and use of various open-source analytical tools;
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
· A problem-solver;
· Attention to detail under pressure and time constraints;
· Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel);
· Demonstrated experience writing and editing to produce concise summaries and analyses of social media topics with minimal formatting or grammar errors; and,
· Experience with Google Docs and Google Sheets.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
· BA/BS degree (communications, journalism, media, national security, criminal justice, sociology, or international affairs/political science preferred).
· Experience working on government contracts, especially consumer social media outlets.
· Military experience preferred.
