Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Charlotte Country Club Team is responsible for providing an exceptional, personalized, experience for all members in our dining facilities. A great candidate for this role is professional, driven, enjoys working on a team, and making others happy. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to join a dedicated team while working to grow their expertise in communication, adaptability, time management, and interpersonal skills.


Essential Functions:

  • Reports to work on time, in assigned neat, clean uniform; well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential
  • Provides a seamless “first-touch” experience for all members and guests with expertise and a great attitude in our a la carte dining facilities
  • Setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and replenishment of host stands
  • Active and engaged dining room management, specifically rotating table assignments to servers, waitlist management, and flow of members through the dining room
  • Understands the importance of name recognition and warmly greets each member with a smile and direct eye contact
  • Maintains a positive attitude while demonstrating flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication
  • Assists with beverage service when necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience working in food and beverage, preferably upscale or fine dining establishments
  • Wine, cocktail and culinary knowledge is desired
  • Basic reading, writing, and computer skills
  • Must have a positive, upbeat, friendly attitude and enjoy providing exceptional customer service
  • Must be a team player who can develop strong and positive working relationships with all coworkers

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs daily
  • Constantly walks, stands, reaches, bends, lifts, carries and stoops
  • Frequently washes hands
  • Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, burns, slipping, tripping and falls
  • Indoor and outdoor – ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions
