About Our Client:

A health organization in Camden, NJ is looking to expand its team with a full-time Lead Patient Accounts Representative.


Job Description:

The Lead Patient Accounts Representative will serve as the primary contact for assigned CBO Patient Account vendors, follow up on resolving active and bad debt account balances, and analyze accounts receivable to identify potential issues. This role involves interacting with all levels of staff and management and acting as the liaison between the internal team and its providers to resolve issues and discrepancies. The role does not involve managing the claims team but requires close collaboration and communication with them.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned CBO Patient Account vendors
  • Follow up on resolving active and bad debt account balances
  • Analyze accounts receivable to identify potential issues
  • Serve as a liaison between the internal team and providers
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with the claims team


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hospital billing experience
  • Ability to build reports and analyze data in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills


Additional Details:

  • Full-time position, M-F, 40 hours per week
  • On-site 5 days a week, 8.5 hours in the office during normal business hours (7am-5pm)
  • Paid lunch, morning, and afternoon breaks
