Zilliant is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Functional Testing Automation QA to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated functional test scripts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of quality.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated functional test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute automated functional tests to validate software functionality.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous functional testing and delivery.
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements, design test strategies, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Conduct in-depth functional testing to ensure that software meets business requirements and quality standards.
  • Assist with UAT by providing test scenarios, data, and support to end-users.
  • Assist in performance testing to evaluate system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

Who You Are:
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and suggest improvements.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in test planning, execution, and defect documentation.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Show initiative and drive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
What You’ll Need:
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on functional test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Strong experience in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, document, and troubleshoot software issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments and testing in cloud-native applications.
