Job Summary: Enrollment Communications Manager

The Enrollment Communications Manager collaborates with Enrollment staff, to ensure the accuracy of program-specific communications, along with ensuring all marketing and communications efforts align cohesively with the university’s initiatives and standards. Primary functions of this position include email copywriting, development, and execution for master communication flow and programming); mastery of marketing tools in the different Enrollment platforms; managing Enrollments print material revisions & inventory; updating & maintaining the Enrollment website; updating external college profiles and messaging; collecting current & former student stories; coordinating marketing/communication for recruiting efforts taking place in departments outside of Enrollment and Enrollments social media presence

This role reports to the Executive Director of Enrollment and will also work closely with the University’s Marketing team and other members of the Enrollment team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordination, implementation and analysis of the enrollment marketing and communication campaign.
  • Coordinate, schedule, distribute and track email and print communications, including campaign messages, incoming student messaging, and other marketing assets.
  • Master the fundamentals of (Enrollments CRM) and support the Enrollment team on execution of email and print marketing/communication.
  • Oversee marketing print material revisions and inventory management.
  • Coordinate response to incoming messages in the Enrollments email inbox
  • Manage ongoing updates and improvements to the Enrollments website.
  • Act as liaison to the Public Affairs and Marketing Division, helping create marketing and digital strategies.
  • Assist in the identification, development and distribution of student and alumni stories that articulate the college’s brand and promote greater engagement.
  • Ensure that established brand guidelines and other communication standards are consistently implemented in enrolment, providing staff training as necessary.
  • Collaborates with others to develop and implement programs and communications materials for targeted audiences which enhance awareness and utilization of programs.
  • Creates effective promotional materials including articles, brochures, forms and flyers.
  • Designs, oversees and updates a website to educate and to promote activities and programs.
  • Leads projects as assigned.
  • May be responsible for managing various aspects of social media activities.
  • Creates and/or directs the creation of visual elements for internal audiences.

  • Maintain open and effective communication with the leadership team regarding planning, publication/marketing, etc. Work with Executive Director and leadership team to maintain proactive and efficient communication across all areas.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates effective multimedia advertising campaigns to build brand awareness and generate leads for open enrollment programs.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to create and execute integrated communication and sales strategies to increase open enrollment participation.
  • Creates and manages lead forms and advertising landing pages.
  • Executes and optimizes lead nurturing email campaigns, quarterly e-newsletter, and standalone emails.
  • Oversees the creation of effective promotional materials including articles, brochures, videos, and other collateral.
  • Ensures consistent messaging and adherence to brand across channels and internal teams.
  • Provides performance reports and uses analytics to optimize ad campaigns, email campaigns, website content, and program messaging.
  • Work with the marketing team to create market research that provides insights to inform new program development.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, art or other related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in similar areas such as developing marketing, communications, and/or informational materials, writing/research, project management, and/or working in information technology (Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in these areas)
  • Knowledge of publishing and other related software.
  • Demonstrated creativity in the design of marketing, public relations or educational programs and communications materials.
  • Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills and experience.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential employee information.
  • Experience in development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to network with alumni and university departments and administrators.

Certifications, Licenses, registrations

  • Valid GA Driver’s License required.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record to allow driving of motor vehicles on behalf of the University.

Working Conditions

  • Must be available, able, and willing to work some weekends, mornings, and/or evenings.
