Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Software Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing software strategies for an organization's needs, tracking developers and enhancing software efficiency. 


Key Responsibilities


Leadership and Strategy
   - Develop and execute the overall software development strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
   - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, developers, and technical leads.
   - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the software development teams.


Technical Oversight
   - Provide technical guidance and leadership in software architecture, design, and development practices.
   - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
   - Implement best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).


Stakeholder Management
   - Work closely with senior leadership to communicate technical strategies, progress, and challenges.
   - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
   - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as a technical expert.


Operational Excellence
   - Develop and manage the software development budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
   - Implement metrics and KPIs to track and measure the performance and quality of software development activities.
   - Ensure robust documentation and knowledge sharing across the software development teams.


Qualifications


- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the healthcare software industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, regulations, and standards.
- Strong technical expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
- Experience with modern software development tools and technologies, including cloud platforms, and APIs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation and technology.


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: From $140,000
