OverviewThey are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to work for the busy Family Practice clinic. This individual must be team oriented, enjoys a challenging fast paced environment and enjoys working with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Greets patients and prepares them for practitioner examination
  • Assess patients for any new changes or problems
  • Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments
  • Maintains timely flow of patients
  • Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests
  • Arranges for patients testing
  • Responds to and refers incoming telephone calls
  • Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintains and reviews patient records and other pertinent information
  • Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials
  • Prepares list of medical supplies needed
  • Prepares instruments for procedures using sterile technique as indicated
  • Administer medications as directed by practitioners (P.O, I.M., SUB Q, IV) and document the date, amount, site, route in the patient’s electronic health records

Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Oregon Nursing license
  • Phlebotomy skills required
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Requires full range of motion including handling and lifting patients
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
  • Requires exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)

Compensation: $24.00 - $35.00 Hourly
