ABOUT TALIESIN PRESERVATION

As stewards of the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, our dual mission is to preserve the cultural, built, and natural environments that comprise the Taliesin property and to conduct educational and cultural programs that provide a greater understanding of his architecture and ideas. We are different from other historic sites because we are a living historic site, offering immersive experiences for our audiences to engage with.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROGRAMS MANAGER

As our Programs Manager, you will oversee our arts and education programs and Hillside Theater events. Work closely with our Group Tours Coordinator to ensure positive guest experiences for group tours. Prepare creative proposals for prospective programs and theater events. Respond to phone and email inquiries. Make connections with outside organizations to generate theater and programmatic sales opportunities. Provide supervision and guidance to Programs staff. Work with our Director of Programs in program evaluations and identifying growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROGRAMS MANAGER

* Previous supervisory experience * Prior customer service experience * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills

Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of visitors and employees? Able to prioritize tasks while maintaining flexibility? Have strong communication skills? If so, you might just be perfect for this Programs Manager position

WORK SCHEDULE

This position works Monday through Friday, with some flexibility required. In addition, there is an opportunity for a hybrid schedule (in-office and remote).
