Recovery Partnership Navigator- Central Region

Title of position – Recovery Partnership Navigator-- (Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset, and Union County)
Program and participant coordination
- Immediately reports any concerns to the Division Director
- Coordinate and assist in implementation of all programming
- Coordinate community linkages and partnerships
- Facilitate connection between regional treatment organizations and RMC staff
- Building and fostering partnerships with statewide recovery community organizations
- Supports volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, retention and coordination
- Provide Division Director with relevant data and reports for program evaluation
- Regularly updates program schedule and offerings, informing participants of any changes
Community outreach
- Assists in coordination and implementation of NJ-CARS meetings, training/technical assistance and events
- Assists in coordination and implementation of community outreach events
- Facilitates outreach about the RMC services to regional treatment providers and stakeholders
- Develops regional recovery community resource map
Qualifications for position:
· Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services, or related field
· At least two (2) years’ experience in providing services to individuals with SUD
· NJ certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred
Skills, knowledge, Personal Qualities required:
Must possess the skills, knowledge, and personal qualities required to fulfill the responsibilities listed above. Bilingual preferred. Strong writing and computer skills required.
Amount of travel and any other special conditions or requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license and method of transportation. Position requires regionalized travel. All travel mileage will be reimbursed.
Evening and Weekend Availability: Must be available evenings and weekends
