Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage BOH staff
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stock management
  • Coordinate with servers to ensure timely food service
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards
  • Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies in a calm and efficient manner

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a kitchen manager, BOH manager, or similar role in a restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, late hours, weekends, and holidays as necessary
