Job Summary:

As a Prep Cook at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, delicious food that meets our high standards of quality and taste. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared safely and efficiently, and that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients by washing and slicing vegetables and cutting meats
  • Follow recipes by accurately measuring ingredients and following mixing methods
  • Prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specs with further direction from Management
  • Label and stock all food products for proper rotation
  • Understand and adhere to sanitation and cleanliness standards and procedures

Requirements:
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety, and hygiene
  • Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs
