Job Title: Manager of Emergency Services

Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000

Schedule: Full-Time; 36 hours per week, Variable Shifts


Job Summary:


Join us as the Manager of Emergency Services and play a critical role in our patient-centered, compassionate healthcare team. In this key leadership position, you will manage the emergency services department, ensuring high standards of care and efficient service delivery in one of the most vital areas of our hospital.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Services Department, ensuring compliance with all hospital and regulatory policies.
  • Administer, plan, and evaluate department activities to ensure quality patient care, incorporating the latest in clinical practices and technological advancements.
  • Develop and manage departmental goals, policies, and procedures in alignment with hospital objectives.
  • Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a seamless patient care experience.
  • Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a competent and motivated team.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate actively in hospital committees.
  • Ensure the department is prepared for and compliant with all health and safety regulations.

What You Will Need:


  • Current Florida RN licensure.
  • Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • At least one year of management experience in emergency nursing or a closely related field.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets, staffing, and patient care initiatives.
