OTP Operations Support Specialist (Clinical)

As an OTP Operations Support Specialist (Clinical), you will oversee all telehealth counselors with the state of CA and help clinics when in need of overall operations. This role demands maintaining a high level of performance by providing clinical guidance, direction, training, assessment, and feedback for all telehealth teammates to address the needs of the population we serve. This role requires knowledge of the various departments within the clinics and their job functions. You will be required to work independently and under minimal supervision and will require clear knowledge of the agencies’ policy and procedures including disciplinary and grievance adherence.

Pay Range:

  • $70,000/year to $95,000/year

Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in human service field; 2 years’ experience in related human service field and/or quality assurance specialty.
  • Certified or licensed eligible
  • Experience as an OTP Director or Assistant Regional Director.
  • Must possess a current valid driver’s license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role is required to drive for company purposes.
  • Travel up to 50% will be required to conduct site visits, attend meetings and conferences. Extensive travel may be required planned and on short notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure the monitoring and daily flow of all telehealth counselors and address adaptations in accordance with the needs of the population we serve including teammate schedule and all program schedules.
  • Monitor quality assurance of telehealth counselor clinical activities and documentation.
  • Facilitate and/or co-facilitate clinical meetings and trainings to address behavioral and/or clinical concerns, progress, and crisis intervention of all participants.
  • Provide timely performance evaluations for all telehealth counselors annually and 90- day probationary review for all new hires. Monitor compliance with annual documentation of the telehealth team to include medical, licensure, and continuing education hours.
  • Trains and orients new clinic management staff of newly opened, recently acquired, and established programs.
  • Provides support, training, and guidance for county, state, DEA, CARF Surveys and other external audits.
  • Ensures facilities compliant with established internal and external procedures, policies and regulations through physical plant inspections, chart reviews, and utilizing site visit report.
  • Develop and conduct training as required to ensure compliance with new and current regions for State, Federal and CARF accreditation readiness.
  • Communication through reporting process which identifies strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations for improvement to ensure effective facility operations.
  • Address areas that are below threshold through on- site training.
  • Complete follow up audits and visits in conjunction with Regional Vice President(s), Regional Director(s) and Executive Director(s).
  • Conduct New ED onboarding training in Relias Live
  • Reviewing and utilizing reports such as Tableau, EMR (Phase, KIPU and Methasoft) reports to improve facility operations.
  • Participate in workgroups and committees as assigned.
  • Participation in Regional and Director Meetings as assigned.
  • Act in accordance with Pinnacle Treatment Center policies and federal confidentiality laws (42-CFR, Pt 2, and HIPAA)
  • Travel to facilities within as established between President, RVPs, and Supervisor.
  • Provide EHR Training to Executive Directors and monitor for consistency and compliance within PTC Policies & Procedures
  • Assist in the interview process for new EDs
  • Other duties as assigned.
