Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our External Reporting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and external reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, the ability to work cross-functionally, and excellent analytical and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q), including financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and other required disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of earnings releases, investor presentations, and other external communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Investor Relations) to gather required financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and analysis to external auditors.
  • Stay updated on new accounting standards and SEC regulations, ensuring timely implementation and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc reports and analyses for management as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and corporate accounting, with a focus on SEC reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial reporting systems such as Workiva, Hyperion, or similar.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus.
