Mill 95 is an independent, progressive service provider to craft brewers and hop growers. The Mill was inspired by southwest Idaho’s vibrant hop cultivation and culture along Route 95 near Wilder, Idaho. We act from conviction that local capability to evaluate, care for and process hops would be valued by growers and brewers alike.


We are a small team dedicated to achieving common goals, willing to jump-in wherever needed, and accountable to one another. We are seeking two seasonal positions a Warehouse Operator and Production Line Operator with the potential for one position to become full-time year-round.

Requirements:

Forklift Operators

Operate a forklift, bale squeeze, or other power equipment to receive, load, unload, move, stack, stage, weigh and log product and materials.

  • Operate industrial vehicles to transfer product between receiving, working and warehouse areas
  • Unload all bales from bale truck and line in the staging/testing area
  • Stack, organize and store product
  • Weigh and record product receipt and movement into ERP system via keying and scanning
  • Assist with minor maintenance, recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
  • Ability to operate equipment, fork lifts and pallet jacks; certification to operate a fork lift is a plus


Production Line Operators

Prepare hops products for production, set up, maintain and operate machinery. Operators may perform Bale Breaker and/or Packaging duties.

  • Record product receipt and movement into ERP system via keying and scanning
  • Prepare, print and place labels
  • Set up machines for production cycle and control and adjust machine settings
  • Remove packaging materials and handle waste management
  • Load bales onto bale breaker feed conveyor
  • Monitor and replenish supplies in the bagger, case erector, labeler and sealer
  • Place bags of finished goods into the cases and perform leak tests to protocol
  • Test operation of machines and fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Assist with minor maintenance, recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment
  • Understanding of production procedures and operate industrial equipment
  • Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) which includes monitoring display data, view and manage alarms, recognizing when to reset or stop the production process.

Both positions require:

  • High School Degree
  • 1 year experience in related role and/or industry
  • Basic math (add, subtract, multiply, & divide)
  • Personal computer, keyboarding, ERP system experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, and strong oral communication skills
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and reaching
  • Ability to grip and hold items and manual dexterity
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and to lift up to 100 pounds on an infrequent basis, unless otherwise stated above
  • Ability to work in and between extreme weather temperatures, both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to work extra hours and week-ends as needed

Working Environment/Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Requires the use of personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, steel toed boots, and company supplied safety shirts or jackets in the winter months. Requires the ability to work in and between extreme weather temperatures, both indoors and outdoors.
