Job Summary:

Napleton Lincoln, located in Calumet City, Illinois, and Chicago Ridge Illinois is seeking experienced Automotive Journeyman Technicians for Lincoln/Ford vehicles. This is a full-time, Union position in the Auto industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled labor and maintenance work on Lincoln/Ford vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate repairs to meet dealership and manufacturer standards. The compensation for this position starts at $40 to $50 per hour, with additional benefits provided by the 701 Union. Sign on bonus to the right Lincoln/Ford Master technician candidate. 

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Lincoln/Ford vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using electronic diagnostic equipment and manual methods
- Perform complex repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, and other major vehicle components
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all repair and maintenance work
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks and maintain a high level of productivity
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with service advisors, fellow technicians, and customers to provide updates and recommendations for vehicle repairs
- Keep up-to-date with new automotive technologies and industry trends through continuous training and self-learning

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 years previous experience working on Lincoln/Ford vehicles in a dealership as a journeyman technician
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must have own tools and equipment
- Familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment and repair manuals
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication and customer service skills
