Position Overview:

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will oversee and manage technical projects within our organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The TPM will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, efficient workflows, and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:

 Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

 Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.

 Allocate resources and assign tasks to project team members.

 Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.

2. Technical Oversight:

 Understand the technical requirements and ensure that the technical solutions align with business objectives.

 Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure the feasibility and technical soundness of project plans.

 Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

 Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

 Prepare and deliver regular project updates to stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments, and progress reports.

 Facilitate effective communication within the project team and across departments.

4. Risk Management:

 Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

 Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary.

5. Quality Assurance:

 Ensure that projects adhere to quality standards and are delivered to specification.  Coordinate with QA teams to conduct testing and validation processes.

6. Budget and Resource Management:

 Develop and manage project budgets.

 Track and report on project expenditures and ensure they remain within approved limits.

 Optimize resource allocation and utilization.

7. Process Improvement:

 Continuously evaluate project processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

 Implement best practices in project management and technical development.

Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 Experience:

 Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects.

 Proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects.

 Technical Skills:  Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).

 Proficiency with project management tools.

 Familiarity with coding languages, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure is preferred.

 Soft Skills:  Excellent leadership and team management skills.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
