We are seeking a warm Patient Relations Coordinator (Part-time) to support our busy practice operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a self-starter who can excel in creating a positive patient experience including patient scheduling, treatment planning and supporting practice operations. The position may be required to support either our Newnan location (Complete Dental Arts) or Fayetteville (Fayette Dental Group).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a dental office setting or healthcare management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Experience billing, posting and explaining insurance to patients
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software
  • Experienced presenting treatment plans and converting treatment
  • Prior medical/healthcare from office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patients with treatment plan details and financial estimates for all prescribed treatments
  • Plan and book patient appointments, reschedule missed appointments and contact patients who unscheduled treatments

  • Coordinate Doctor and hygiene schedules to optimize usage of appointment times

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective management of daily patient flow and convey important information to the proper individuals

  • Process patient billing and insurance claims
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Handle patient inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Receive and schedule incoming labs
  • Collaborate with dentists and other team to provide exceptional patient care
  • Ensure practice is meeting production and collection goals
  • Adaptable to change and lead practice changes

  • Outstanding communication and customer service abilities

  • Other duties as assigned
