Position Overview

The CS Repair Production Supervisor is a new position resulting from LG Energy Solution’s rapid growth within the North American residential battery market. Reporting to the CS Operations Manager, the CS Repair Production Supervisor will be responsible for supporting and leading the repair operations in ASC (3rd party Authorized Service Centers and in-house Direct Service Center) as designated by the Residential CS Team Leader.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operations: Directly oversee Refurbish / Analysis production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
  • Training and Development: Organize training programs and develop educational materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Refurbish / Analysis production team members.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Task Organization: Organize and prioritize tasks to meet refurbish / Analysis production goals and deadlines effectively.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet KPIs and optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain open communication channels between employees and management to ensure clarity on procedures and policies.
  • Own the production process. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports to meet KPI, implement catch-up plans, and enforce activities to mitigate deficit.
  • Develop and maintain the SOP ensuring it is always up to date.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure availability of part materials and supplies to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Keep record of equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. Coordinate with US and HQ corresponding teams to ensure equipment is working properly.
  • Support ad-hoc reports and tasks required.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 3+ years work experience in field service role or equivalent
  • Experience as a people leader and demonstrated ability to inspire technicians to deliver quality service.
  • High expertise in dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to solve problem and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Dedicated and ethical approach to LGES standards
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships acting as a well-respected, trusted partner with whom others want to work with.
  • Proficient data analytic skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient communication skills; verbal, written, and presentations.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • 3+ years work experience in field service role or equivalent
  • 1+ years of managing technicians
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
