SUMMARY
Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble products.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the GCM Quality System
  • Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Lead or Production Supervisor
  • Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions using 6S
  • Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
  • Performs other related duties assigned
Requirements:

REQUIRED

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be over 18 years of age and authorized to work in US
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures and prints written in English
  • Must be able to operate forklift safely if certified to do so
  • Must show proficiency in the set-up and operation of all necessary equipment
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Medical device manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor

DESIRED

  • Two years of mechanical assembly experience
  • Forklift certification
