Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- INVENTORY MANAGEMENT - Maintain and update inventory records. Match orders (inbound and outbound shipments) to Inventory System Records. Update Inventory System to match final documentation Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain accurate inventory results.
- SHORTAGES/SECURITY - In conjunction with Inventory Control Manager, assure that only authorized personnel have access to inventory records. Assist in the maintenance of accurate inventory records to help facilitate shortage detection.
- RECORDS AND REPORTS - Utilize system reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Complete and issue all necessary records and reports including filing invoices and maintaining customer records in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Communication - Communicate with internal customers & suppliers regarding inventory records. Work with Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Warehouse Supervisors to establish order processing and inventory receipt cut-off dates.
- Associates degree or relative years’ experience.
- 3-5 years of awareness of warehousing, logistics, and shipping documentation, and inventory control preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills and can handle counts accurately.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with personal computers and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to present, converse and report professionally to Leadership.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports and documents.
- Ability to effectively present information to management, solve basic mathematical problems, apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
