As a Business Development Representative at Auterion, you will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and nurturing leads. This role demands a proactive approach to qualifying customer pain points, understanding the autonomous systems market and competitors, and effectively communicating the value of Auterion's solutions. You will work closely with our go-to-market team to drive demand and contribute directly to the company's growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through research, outreach, and industry events.
  • Sales Outreach: Contact prospects via email, phone, and social media to establish interest and set up qualification meetings.
  • Qualification of Prospects: Evaluate the potential of leads to determine the fit and readiness for Auterion's suite of offerings.
  • Collaboration with GTM Team: Work closely with the GTM team to ensure leads are progressing through the funnel, supporting with additional outreach as needed.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales activities and progress to sales and pipeline targets
  • Voice of the Market: Gather insights from customer interactions to improve qualification process and focus for marketing efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related sales role.
  • Proven curiosity and eagerness to learn, demonstrated in previous experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively listen, uncover pain points, and communicate value to customers
  • Process-oriented, with a focus on tracking and improving on inputs on a daily basis.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales engagement platforms
  • A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the technology or robotics industry (nice to have)
  • Understanding of autonomous systems and their applications (nice to have)
