The Michelle Martin Group (MMG) is currently searching for a temporary Cemetery Front Desk Receptionist for our esteemed client. This position is temporary with the opportunity to go permanent. MMG is dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with outstanding opportunities and continuing to provide comprehensive staffing solutions to our clients across various industries. 


The Cemetery Front Desk Receptionist plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support. Apply office practices and procedures to daily tasks such as demonstrate knowledge of telephone etiquette, including answering and directing phone calls, responding to routine inquiries, and providing assistance to a wide variety of callers and in-house visitors, scheduling and confirming appointments, and handling sensitive documents with confidentiality.

 

The role requires a blend of administrative proficiency, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently. Additionally, the receptionist must exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possess a compassionate demeanor, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.


** This is a full-time 40-hour-a-week position, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, through October 1st, 2024.**

** Valid Drivers License REQUIRED**

**This position is 100% ON-SITE**


Responsibilities:

  • Managing phone and in-person inquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Handling sensitive documents with confidentiality
  • Greet all visitors, including families of the deceased, veterans, funeral directors, and delivery persons, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere
  • Deliver exceptional customer service 
  • Utilize computer skills effectively, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and PDF software
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring efficient and organized workflow


Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid State Driver's License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in funeral services is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a cemetery or funeral home setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general office procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
