  • We are hiring for a Project Engineer to join our team for business and contribute to multi-discipline design projects. This person will have the opportunity to lead a variety of public and private site development projects across various markets
Job Duties:
  • Preparation of engineering design drawings from schematic design through construction documents (engineering reports, technical specifications, etc.) as well as municipal site plan submissions and cost breakdowns for municipal bonding.
  • Meet with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Delegate project workload to Junior Engineers & Drafters; this involves monitoring schedules and budgets to ensure effective completion of projects accordingly.
  • Mentor / guide and support junior-level staff.
  • Complete field inspections, as needed.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • 7+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with design projects.
  • PE in NJ (we will consider candidates who are able to successfully obtain their PE within 6 months of their start date).
  • Management and/or Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Experience working on greenfield / land development projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with site design functions: site layout, grading, utility design, storm water management, erosion control, municipal & land-use regulatory approvals, etc.
