To that end, we are pursuing a highly skilled Customer Success Manager to lead the development of our customer facing processes and procedures. This role, located in Monrovia, California, is critical to our team, providing strategic and tactical support to ensure all customer needs are met beyond expectation


Responsibilities

  • Lead the innovative electronic design, development, and validation of level 2 Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for tier 1 automotive OEMs.
  • Guide the electronic product development from conceptual to high volume production.
  • Work under minimal supervision while providing regular status updates to the department manager.
  • Provide analysis for analog and mixed-signal circuits with focus on safety, reliability, high efficiency, and robustness for commercial environments.
  • Provide status updates on tasks using company defined task management software (JIRA).
  • Act as a mentor for Junior and Mid-level engineers to help spread information and knowledge.
  • Perform power up, hardware level testing, and debugging of PCBA according to schematics and gerber files.
  • Read system and sub-system level block diagrams that explain circuit architecture as well as circuit element selection.
  • Review & evaluate of alternative electrical components such as op-amps, semi-conductors, and ICs.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that include software, mechanical, systems, validation, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Create clear and thorough test report documentation of design activities to build high quality products

Desired Skills:

  • Experience designing consumer electronics from concept to production release is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the EV industry or related field.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design software suites (i.e. Altium).
  • Experience with Embedded microcontroller debugging (ARM processors, FPGA, or ASIC) is a plus.
  • Familiar with single-phase and three-phase power systems.
  • Open to travel to debug design & quality defects.
  • Experience working with PCBA manufacturers to develop board level test requirements such as ICT, FCT, and inspection criteria.
