JOB SUMMARY

The Compensation Specialist will support the Total Rewards Team at Seacoast Bank on broad-based compensation matters while being a partner in incentive plan administration, data, reporting and analytics, being able to use data/analytics to answer questions on compensation-related initiatives. Assists the broader compensation team with administrative support to further projects and initiatives.

The Compensation Specialist will assist in the design, execution, implementation, and administration of Incentive Plans.

Additionally, this role will also help ensure governance requirements are met, including documenting changes, tracking approvals, socializations and completing plan manual updates.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Partners with team on the day-to-day administration and issue resolution for commission and incentive plans.
  • Help develop and establish incentive governance standards, processes, and training.
  • May assist with calculation, reconciliation, and payment of incentive on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis which includes calculating/validating incentive payouts, collecting appropriate approvals, as well as providing payout amounts for payroll processing.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis of incentive, sales or performance data.
  • Provide project support for compensation and incentive initiatives.
  • May conduct incentive plan risk reviews; reviews metric/quality product definitions, evaluate existing incentive plans to ensure plan effectiveness, and build risk measurements into the plans.
  • Supports ongoing incentive plan manual reporting, calculations and tracking of incentive accruals
  • Respond to HR and LOB compensation analysis requests on an ad hoc basis.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, I/O Psychology, business administration, etc., or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years in a data/analytics focused role in Incentive Plan, or Sales Performance
  • Knowledge and understanding of the banking industry including regulatory compliance requirements surrounding incentive compensation and risk management is highly preferred
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and have previous experience in data analytics, modeling, reporting, etc.
  • Expert in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create associate/leader ready presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint/Word with the ability to clearly communicate complex topics and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.
  • Solid incentive functional knowledge and understanding of compensation processes and data
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information.
  • Solid understanding of reporting tools
  • Strong communication, written and oral
