Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Program Management Solutions is looking for a Subject Matter Expert with at least 10 years experience overseeing IT projects to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position in the Washington DC Metro area. It requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

 

Example of Duties

● Analyze user needs to determine functional and technical requirements

● Provide expert guidance in analysis and the design of information technology architectures, technology analyses, systems architectures, and strategic planning

● Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process

● Lead and support the challenges faced by developers who must deal with issues such as cultural change, software distribution, security, data distribution, and business process impacts

● Provide a structured way of dealing with new technologies, changing goals, and needs

● Guide the development team through many of the follow through activities once the system is implemented, i.e. site promotion, gathering feedback, and software distribution

● Ability to design solutions to provide timely updates of large databases assuring high-performance across the portfolio

● Work with other team members to improve the business processes and information technologies of clients’ organizations

● Design, implement, and develop data integration solutions

 

Requirements/Education

● A minimum of ten (10) years overseeing IT projects involving the use of Agile methodologies, processes, and procedures, including but not limited to Scrum and Kanban, and also including the use of Earned Value Management, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Information Technology Information Library (ITIL), and MS Project, as well as prior hands-on technical experience in a software development environment, and BS or BA (MS or MBA preferred) and five (5) years of experience or
